The race for Crystal Palace and England center-back Marc Guehi is set to intensify in the upcoming summer transfer window, with four Premier League clubs vying for his signature, as reported by the Daily Telegraph. Guehi, 23, has emerged as one of England’s top defenders and recently earned a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s national team.

Tottenham and Arsenal had expressed interest in Guehi during the previous summer transfer window, but sources from LondonWorld revealed that the player declined potential moves after learning he would be considered a backup rather than a first-choice option. However, both London clubs are expected to renew their pursuit of Guehi in the upcoming transfer window.

In addition to Premier League interest, ESPN reports that Crystal Palace is exploring options in Europe for potential replacements for Guehi. Valencia’s Cristhian Mosquera, Peterborough United’s Ronnie Edwards, and Leicester City’s Harry Souttar are among the names linked with a move to south London.

Guehi is currently sidelined due to knee surgery but has made 22 appearances in the Premier League this season. Despite his absence, Palace continues to navigate on-field challenges, with Oliver Glasner recently appointed as the new manager following Roy Hodgson’s departure. Glasner has won one and lost one of his first two games in charge of the Eagles.

As the summer transfer window approaches, the battle for Guehi’s services is expected to intensify, with Tottenham, Arsenal, and other suitors eager to secure the talented defender’s signature.
