Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder has expressed admiration for a player recently targeted by Tottenham Hotspur, following an outstanding performance.
Tottenham, under manager Ange Postecoglou, have been active in the transfer market, with potential signings including Conor Gallagher, Antonio Nusa, or Jacob Ramsey before the January deadline. Despite the complexities of these deals, Tottenham’s pursuit reflects their ambitious approach under the leadership of Daniel Levy.
Among the players Tottenham had pursued in the summer is Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze, whose exceptional performance in a recent match against Wilder’s side reaffirmed his quality. Eze scored two remarkable goals, both assisted by the impressive Michael Olise, who also caught Wilder’s attention.
